Details: Short-acting intravenous anaesthetic agent suitable for induction and maintenance of general anaesthesia.
Dosage: Induction of anaesthesia: most adult patients less than 55 yrs are likely to require 2-2.5mg/ kg of `Diprivan`: maintenance of anaesthesia: 4-12 mg/ kg/ usually maintain satisfactory anaesthesia.
